Ms. Susan Hayhurst for more than four decades has been a speaker, educator, consultant, and an actress. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Iowa State University, Susan has taught both general and special education, including departmentalized social studies. Additionally, she is a graduate from Marketing Unlimited Modeling. She has been a spokeswoman in commercials, and has accepted invitations to speak on a variety of topics in the Midwest and on IPBS.

She is an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Civil War Round Table, and other historical societies and is involved with promoting historical preservation through projects and presentations.
