Primary duty location: Johnston, IA 50131. Responsible for participating with Honor Guard teams within their geographic area. Maintain proper military decorum and display appropriate professionalism. Maintain body composition standards; failing to do so will result in dismissal from the program. Maintain neat and clean uniforms for all MFH missions, IAW HG SOP & AR 670-1. Participate in all training requirements and exercises for performance of MFH ceremonies, in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Maintain accountability and serviceability for all Honor Guard team equipment, which includes, but not limited to: GSA vehicle(s), training casket(s), Bugles(s), cell phone(s), etc. as assigned. Assists the Area Coordinator and Team Leader in the AOR recruiting effort. Coordinates with Team Leader regarding availability for missions. Must be able to access .mil
network and .mil email resources. Responsible for other MFH duties as assigned.
Selected Soldier will be put on ADOS immediately through 30SEP25, with the potential for continued employment in the next TY based on budget and selected Soldier's performance.
