Modified community send-off ceremonies for the 1st Battalion “Ironman,” 133rd Infantry Regiment and Troop C, 1st Squadron “Red Horse,” 113th Cavalry Regiment, Iowa Army National Guard, will be held May 30, 2020, and June 1, 2020.

A combination of factors led to a 911 call from Camp Dodge Wednesday initiating an active shooter response from law enforcement agencies. A preliminary review has revealed that there was no actual threat to the base at the time of the call.
At approximately 1:39 p.m. today at Camp Dodge, there was a perceived threat at a warehouse. Law enforcement officers arrived within five minutes. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
