Iowa ESGR - ESGR is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972.  Employment Support Program - NGB Employment Support customer focus: Provide employment opportunities and options to develop career ready service members, prepared/resilient family members, and successfully transitioned members integrated with their community.  

Iowa Employment Support Program works closely with ESGR, CSFL, Home Base Iowa, and Iowa Workforce Development.



 The vision of the Citizen Soldier for Life (CSFL) Program is to prepare and connect Army National Guard (ARNG) Soldiers and their immediate Family with employment and education opportunities in order to maintain a ready and resilient force capable of accomplishing the State and Federal missions.


                                                 CSFL is focused on providing:

    Individual case management

    Increasing financial literacy

       Delivering Career Readiness Standards (CRS) to Soldiers in the initial phase of the Soldier Life Cycle (SLC) through the Soldiers career
  •    Providing employment services to Soldiers, and immediate Family, throughout the SLC that are unemployed, over-employed, or under-employed
  •    Connect with, and build lasting partnerships with, available resources, employers and community entities
Iowa Workforce DevelopmentIowa Workforce Development links job placement and skill development into a system of lifelong learning and opportunity. Through resources and services created for employers, employees, and the unemployed, Iowans can take control of their economic future and the security of their families.



Direct Employers Association 






  DirectEmployers Association- DirectEmployers Association, Inc. is a 501(c) (6) nonprofit, 600 plus member employer association. As provided in its corporate bylaws, a board of directors consisting of member company representatives manages the business and affairs of the Association. Daily operations are managed by an executive director and operations staff at the direction of the president and board of directors. Its mission is to provide employers an employment network that is cost-effective, improves labor market efficiency and reaches an ethnically diverse national workforce.
