 Mission Statement
"The Iowa
Gold Star Military Museum's mission is to honor and depict the
military experience of Iowa citizens in all wars, homeland defense
and Iowa service. The museum’s purpose is to collect, preserve and
exhibit materials that illustrate the story of Iowa’s military past
from statehood to the present. The Iowa Gold Star Museum honors the
heroic service of all Iowa veterans.

To honor the military service of our citizens the Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge offers three options to purchase either (1) fired red bricks 4" x 8" or (2) 8" x 8" or (3) 8" x 12" granite pavers engraved with name, rank, military unit, time of service, etc. These bricks will be mounted permanently on an interior wall of the new museum addition.

| These full-sized, fired red bricks have your choice of inscription. The cost for a fired red brick is $150 with a maximum of 3 lines of 16 characters in each line including spaces. Text will be centered on the brick. |

Larger granite pavers (8" x 8" or 8" x 12") that offer more word choices are available upon request. These pavers cost $500 or $1,000 respectively. (An 8" x 8" granite paver is shown on the left) |
