Iowa National Guard Education Foundation Scholarship

Each year, members of the Iowa National Guard Officer's Association make voluntary contributions to fund
this scholarship program. This program allows outstanding soldiers and airmen to compete for $500.00 scholarships.

Last year there were 37 applicants in which 10 were selected by a committee to receive the $500.00 Iowa National Guard Foundation Scholarship.

Applicants are limited to current members of the Iowa National Guard in good standing with their units.

***Applications must be typed and arrive on or before the application deadline date (31 October 2007) to be considered.  Deadline extended to increase scholarship opportunity.

SGT Paul Fisher Scholarships The National Defense Industrial Association (IA) Scholarship Committee is now accepting applicants for the awarding of two $1,000 SGT Paul Fisher Scholarships. Applicants are limited to children of active military, reserve, National Guard or veterans residing within zip codes 61200 thru 61699 in Illinois and 5000 thru 52899 in Iowa. Scholarship applications and additional eligibility criteria may be found at  www.ndia-ia-il.org/NDIA Scholarship_2.pdf. Applications must be postmarked not later than 2 May 2008.
