CHAPTER 33 POST 9/11 GI BILL
Eligibility Criteria:
You may be eligible if you served at least 90 aggregate days on active duty after September 10, 2001, and you are still on active duty (AD) or one of the following:
- were honorably-discharged from AD.
- released from AD and placed on the retired list or temporary disability retired list.
- released from AD and transferred to the Fleet Reserve or Fleet Marine Corps Reserve.
- released from the AD for further service in a reserve component of the Armed Forces.
You may also be eligible if you were honorably discharged from AD due a service-connected disability and you served 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001.

- Totally Online courses, no housing allowance Licensing & Certification Work Study Program Tuition Assistance "Top-Up".
- Tutorial Assistance.

Effective 1 April 2008, soldiers must remember to do this at the end of each month. Call the toll-free number, 1-877-823-2378 or log on to VA’s WAVE program at www.gibill.va.gov 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and verify your enrollment online.
